More Halloween awesome-ness comin’ your way!

Hideous, right?

Now check out the price for this lamp.

Awesome right?

That’s what I thought when I spotted it at the thrift store. I knew this baby was coming home with me.

All hideous-ness can be fixed with spray paint, right?

See…

A classic black and white look. I think the white really brings out the detail in the lamp base.

And yes, I spray painted the shade too.

Then you turn the lamp on…

and BLAM-O!

Surprise! It’s an awesome spider lamp!

And it was a cinch to make. Honest.

I cut out the spider and web silhouette onto vinyl then stuck it on the inside of the shade after it was painted.

Can’t even tell it’s there…

…until you turn the light on.
