chalkboard paper + thrift store score!

I have two words for you.

Chalkboard. Paper.

How brilliant is that?!

When I saw this at Michaels’s AND noticed it was 40% off I knew I had to snag it.

I’ve had this frame for years, but never used it. The pictures are 5 x 5 and who has pictures that size? Not me.

But it was perfect for this little project. I just cut three 5 x 5 pieces of chalkboard paper then chalked ‘em up.

And yes, the chalk erases perfectly. I was wondering about that when I bought it or if it would be like using chalk on construction paper, which I did a lot of when I was a kid.

The possibilities for this chalkboard paper are endless! I’ll definitely be coming up with some more projects.

In other news….

Check out this amazing thrift store find!

Talk about score! Can’t wait to work on this baby!

Will it find a home in the new dining room? Hmmmm……

Until next time….

-Meg

I was just thinking of my need to incooporate more chalk/chalk boards into my life.  I’m thinking a big custom size chalkboard in my upstairs hallway.  I haven’t used the chalkboard paint yet… but I’m going to soon.  That paper is sooo cool!

I am EXTREMELY jealous of this new lighting find!  As always great projects.
