christmas mantel & snow globes

Hello! And happy friday! Any big holiday plans this weekend?

I wanted to share my Christmas mantel with you all today and also some easy DIY snow globes.

I love using epsom salt in glass jars to give the look of snow.

I’ve been wanting to make snow globes, but didn’t like the idea of having a liquid in the jars. Then I saw these super cute waterless snow globes on Whipperberry. These were so easy and fun to make I just couldn’t stop.

Here’ what you need:

-glass jars

-bottle brush trees (I found mine at Walmart)

-fake snow

-hot glue

Step 1: Glue the tree to the lid of the jar.

Step 2: Put some snow into the jar.

Step 3: Put the lid back on the jar.

Step 4: Shake and enjoy your awesome new snow globe.

I put a couple trees into this giant jar, but I didn’t glue them. I didn’t want it to be permanent so I just set them on the bottom.

No shaking the giant snow globe!

I even put a few small trees under this glass cloche.

I love my little snow globe forrest!

Have a happy holiday weekend!

Until next time….
