cupcake liner lights

Hello everyone!

I’ve got some really exciting things in the works!

At the top of the list; I’m completely changing my dining room. Even changing which room it’s in. It’s going to be amazing when it’s all finished! I’ll keep you posted on that one.

But until then, I have this great little project.

Cupcake liner lights!

I’m a big fan of twinkle lights and I fully believe you can have them in your house at anytime of the year.

I’m also a big fan of garlands. Big. Huge.

So in my book, when I combine cute cupcake liners and a strand of lights it turns into a lit garland.

And I ask you, “Is there anything better?”

No, no there isn’t.

All you need are some cupcake liners, a strand of lights and an exacto knife. I got my super awesome cupcake liners from IKEA. Love that place.

Take your exacto knife and cut an X into the bottom of each cupcake liner. You can easily cut a bunch at a time, you don’t need to cut each one individually.

Then just slip a liner over each little twinkle light.

Once all your lights are covered you will have the cutest lit up garland that ever was!

They look so fun at night!

There’s something about a strand of lights that adds instant whimsy.

The possibilities with this idea are endless with all the different colors and kinds of cupcake liners out there.

Happy creating!

Until next time…..

-Meg
