dry erase dinner menu

I’ve been home a week since having spent ten days in Seattle with my brother and his family. Had a great time with the kids and met my brand new nephew who is so stinking cute I wanted to bring him home with me. I’ve had big plans to get posts up, but seems like the week was just too busy playing catch up.

You don’t mind, right?

So thanks to my amazing Curtis we are super close to finishing our dining room makeover. Listen to this; while I was gone he finished painting the dining room!

What the what?!?

Yep, and that’s no easy task. There’s beams across the ceiling, built in bookshelves, and a bricked fireplace. In other words, lots and LOTS of edge work. It was so amazing to walk in and see it all done!

When we decided to redo our dining room I knew I wanted to have a menu board, but I couldn’t decide on a dry erase or a chalkboard menu. I did a lot of flip-flopping, but in the end decided that a dry erase board would be the best choice.

And here it is!

Fantastic right?!

So I grabbed a frame that I already had and a fun green polka dot piece of paper to stick in it.

Using my Cricut I cut out some letters.

Then ran the letters through my handy little sticker maker.

I stuck the letters on the paper then put it in the frame.

And voila!

A great little dry erase menu!

It hangs on the side of a cabinet in the kitchen and I rather adore it.

Lots and lots of great dining room makeover posts coming soon!

Until next time….

Thanks Amy! Truth be told…a couple of those weren’t on our actual menu, but they looked a lot better than “leftovers”.
