i give you…the fabulous painted piano!

Say hello to my piano.

It’s ugly.

Well I think so anyway. In fact, I’ve thought it ugly for years. And I’ve wanted to paint it for at least one of those years but it was a little (a lot) intimidating and I just wasn’t sure where to start. At the beginning of summer I made a “to-do” list, like I always do even though most summers I don’t get through even half of my list. “Paint Piano” was towards the top of my list. And here we are nearing the end of summer and I realized that I need to get on it before the halloween decorations start coming out. I know, I know halloween isn’t for awhile, but I get my halloween decor up in september. The middle (if not sooner) of september. Halloween is just so great and the decorations are unbeatable. So I finally did it! And I couldn’t be happier! Honestly, I love love love how it turned out and it changes the whole look in the room! Wanna see?

Is that just the most fabulous piano you’ve ever seen? Maybe I’m exaggerating a tad, but I’m crazy about it!

I used a stencil to paint on the flowers. I think they add the perfect finishing touch.

This little dandelion is my favorite part. Love.

Even the bench got some extra love.

Well there it is. So I guess I can start getting out my halloween…. Is it too early?

This looks amaze-balls!!!! I LOVE the color and am completely smitten with the stencils I’ve have this on my to-do list for a while now, and it just seems so intimidating to me. Your piano makes me want to suck it up and put it at the top of my list

That looks so good!! The stencil makes it so unique. I have a piano to paint too, but I’m scared! Do you have any tips to share? Did you take the piano apart to paint it?
