First things first. You’ve probably noticed I’ve been absent for a month. Curtis & I tackled a major overhaul in March. We’ll get to all that makeover goodness soon enough.
Next, you may be asking “What is an IKEA hack?” An IKEA hack is repurposing standard IKEA furniture into a customized piece.
I’m so happy with how this “hack” turned out! Take a look!
This is what it looked like before.
After removing the shelves it received a really good coat of primer and then several coats of green spray paint.
I love hairpin legs! We’re talking serious love here. I knew from the get-go I wanted to put hairpin legs on this baby.
I ordered the legs from Hairpin Legs for Less. I got them in a gold powder-coated finish.
It is absolute perfection!
And, why yes, that IS a giant disco ball. I’m a firm believer that all spaces need at least one disco ball decor.
This picture is a great little sneak peek at the major makeover that took all of March to complete.
Go ahead, drink it in.
Pay special attention to the particularly shimmery-ness on the right side of the photo. That’s my favorite part.
Before and afters coming soon! Stay tuned!
Until next time….
