It’s no secret by now that I am obsessed with industrial style everything. I love it all and I want to put it all in my home. Sometimes when I’m working on projects or changing things in my home I want it all done RIGHT NOW! Yeah, patience is something I have to constantly work on. Fortunately, we have Pinterest and I can pin all the things and styles I love to my heart’s content, then when I can make/afford to do more I already have my idea board. Blam-O.
Here are just a few things from my industrial love Pinterest board that I’m swooning over. Check out my board for more industrial goodness.
Ah, remember the good ol’ days when the card catalog was pretty much the bane of your existence?
Writing school papers and trying to find the book you needed and trying to figure out the card catalog and dewey decimal system. I confess, I’m not sure if I ever quite learned the dewey decimal 100%. Seems like I always had a friend who knew what they were doing so they’d just find the book for me.
Now, if I have any younger readers you have absolutely no idea what you just read, do you?
Although I never mastered the card catalog system in my youth, I will happily except one into my house and give it a lovely home.
Cage lights scream industrial. I have a major weakness for lighting and for exposed bulbs, especially the vintage Edison bulbs. The double whammy!
More delicious storage options.
I have quite a crush on these little desk lamps and have been thinking about trying to DIY them.
Something like this would be perfect in my craft room.
Vintage. Metal. Letters.
There are no words to describe my love for this orange floor lamp. My little industrial heart actually skips a beat just looking at it.
I’d love to replace the chairs in my dining room with some fabulous Tolix chairs.
These turquoise locker bins are beyond incredible! I’d happily give these a home in my entryway.
Until next time….
