So, remember my mirror tile wall? If you’ve been here before and have a pulse I’m sure you do. Well, I had some leftover sheets of mirror tiles and decided pretty quickly that I would be making a mirror tile chandelier with them.
And I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I love it!
My chandelier found a home above my record player and next to my recently acquired geometric bear print from Vintage Revivals. Which, by the way, I am also completely in love with.
Since my mirror tiles were in sheets I had to cut them into strips using a box cutter. But good news, Kit Kraft sells mirror tiles in strips already. So, no cutting.
I attached the mirror tile strips to a 10 inch macrame ring using hot glue. I did this by folding the top 2 tiles of the strip over the ring and then securing with hot glue. I found it was easier to attach the mirror tiles while the ring was hanging. So tie on your string (or whatever you want to use to hang it) and hang it while you glue on the mirror strips.
You’ll notice I cut the bottom of the mirror tile strips at different lengths to give it some variation.
Until next time….
