Greetings! I hope you all had a great weekend! I spent my entire weekend watching the Olympics. I just can’t get enough.
I’ve got a fantastic music recommendation today; Pokey LaFarge. This incredible band is heavily influenced by early American folk music and play some wicked harmonica, which I always enjoy. This is perfect late summer music. Makes me feel like sitting in a rocking chair on the back porch under the sweltering summer heat. Take a listen, you may be surprised.
Chitlin Cookin’ Time In Cheatham County is a great place to start if you want to get a feel of what Pokey is all about.
