There is definitely something about spring that makes life just seem wonderful.
The way the winter cold melts away and the world turns green and beautiful and alive again.
One of my favorite spring things, besides Easter candy (Easter candy is ridiculously amazing), are spring flowers. I love to bring them into the house. They fill my home with such wonderful colors and fragrances. And as much as I seriously love Bath & Body Works candles, nothing can compare to the smell of fresh cut flowers. Am I right or what?
So this afternoon I cut some lovely flowers from our yard and am now enjoying them inside.
Lilacs.
Oh how I love lilacs. Everything about them.
Is the yummy smell wafting through the computer yet?
Smellevision. We need it. Isn’t somebody working on that already? If not, they should be.
This gorgeous bouquet found a home on my piano and smells up the whole living room.
But in the good kind of way.
I also snipped a handful of big yellow tulips.
Pure loveliness.
